Golf Life Crisis is the brainchild restless inner demon of me, Joel, a 38-year-old rookie golfer. Having only taken up the game in mid-2023, I have a lot of catching up to do – as well as an obsessive mindset, unfulfilled sporting ambitions, and a seemingly paradoxical combination of excessive self-belief mixed with relentless self-criticism.
